Allow me to touch on a very important subject in our prayer lives; the importance of praying at Midnight.
Most Christians are struggling spiritually and are faced with predicaments that are beyond natural understanding , there is a way to get out of the mess, there is a way that leads to victory and humongous breakthroughs- midnight prayer is the panacea.
Prophet Isaiah says when the enemy comes in , like a flood the spirit of the Lord shall raise a standard against him.
Apostle Paul concludes by saying; for we do not fight against flesh and blood but against the principalities and rulers of the darkness of this world.
There is power in waking up at midnight and praying to Father. When people are asleep, when witches , wizards and their father the devil are busy planning evil on the children of God it is important to counter the devil's antics but launching the midnight prayer.
Acts 16 v 25 gives us an account in which Peter and Silas, who had been imprisoned for preaching the Word woke up during the midnight hour to pray and suddenly there was a great and violent earthquake that shook the foundations of the prison . The prison doors flew open and everyone who was bound in chains was loosed.
That is the ultimate power of prayer.
David a man, who was loved by God, also teaches a fundamental aspect about prayer when he says in Psalm 119 vs 62 that at midnight he rises to give God thanks for his righteous laws.
Brothers and sisters let us up the game, let us rekindle the fire of midnight prayer as Jeremiah 33 v3 puts it that call unto me and i will shew thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not.
Let us wake up midnight and start our warfare for our weapons are not carnal but they are might through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
