Though a righteous man falls Seven Times......

By LESLIE PHIRI

...... He shall surely rise again

Proverbs Chapter 24v16 is simply inspirational: For though a righteous man may fall seven times, he shall surely rise again, but the wicked are brought down with calamity. I love the assurance that Solomon gives when he says that though we fall, we shall surely rise again.

We all make mistakes, Paul says to the church in Rome in Romans 3v23; "for all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God." Your situation is not unique, God is ready to forgive you, if you come to him with repentant heart.
In Isaiah 1 God says come to me, even if your sins are as red as scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow. There is an open invitation my brothers and sisters, let us therefore take heed of Paul's teaching  in Hebrews Chapter 4v16 , that "let us come boldly unto the throne of grace to obtain mercy in time time of need."

We connect with the father through, Praise, Worship, fasting and Prayer.

Do not lose heart, God is ready to forgive.

The greatest tragedy is for a christian  to think that he/she is the worst sinner and his/her situation is beyond redemption. No. Don't condemn yourself.  Do not make a mistake of regarding yourself as a complete write off.

Jesus assures us in Matthew 11-28  that we must come to him when and if we are heavy laden and He  shall give as rest.

God loves and that is the reason he sacrificed His only begotten Son Jesus so that we may be redeemed from the law of sin and death.

Paul caps it all In Romans 8 when he says "there is therefore now no condemantion for those that are in Christ Jesus."

Draw close to Him and He will draw close to you.

Rise again child of God. Claim your rightful position in kingdom of God. As He rose from the dead so shall you rise!

Rise through Prayer. Arise and Shine for your light has come!

In Jesus Name Amen.

  1. The reason why it takes so many people to rise when they fall is that the Devil lies to them that God cannot accept us back. Its a mind game that the devil plays. The moment we fall we should qucikly run back to God coz He is ready to forgive us. I once heard a preacher saying, "I would rather be in the hands of an angry God than not in His hands at all" His hands are gentle we will feel safe in them. Thank you for the encouragement Man of God
