The secret to successful praying is praying with your whole being to God.
When we do this we become fruitful and productive in prayer. When Christ must live in us and we in him.

When we are born again, we become new creations in Christ Jesus, we cease to live our own lives, but we must allow Jesus Christ to live through and in us.
In Philipians Chapter 3 vs 7 the bible says “But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ”. What this means is that we must completely rely on prayer and give ourselves over to God.
In other words the Holy Spirit given to man, works effectively for the greatest results when we not only throw all our cares and wants to God, but when we surrender our whole being to God.
God wants sinners to repent. When we repent and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour, God is ready to hear our prayers.
In Psalms Chapter 91 vs 15 the bible says “He will call upon me, and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him”.
Effective and powerful praying are a result of complete surrender to God. They are a result of leading a holy and pure life. Sinful man cannot offer powerful and effective prayers, but holy people can.
The bible clearly states the above position in 1 Thessalonians Chapter 5 vs 23 that “May God Himself, the God of Peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
May our prayer today be centered on the following -
That God makes you holy, complete and whole in your spirit, soul and body, and that in this state of holiness you be of service to Him and for his glory!.
