Prayer Points By Leslie Phiri
The seventh time the servant reported "A cloud as small as a man's hand is rising from the sea" So Elijah said ; Go tell Ahab, Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you. Meanwhile the sky grew black, with clouds, the wind arose, a heavy rain started falling, and Ahab rode off to Jezreel.
The power of the Lord came upon Elijah, tucking his clock to his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel - 1Kings 18 v 44 - 46.
Elijah was a man just like us.- He prayed earnestly that it would not rain and it did not rain on the land for the three and a half years. James 5 v 17.

...... He shall surely rise again
Proverbs Chapter 24v16 is simply inspirational: For though a righteous man may fall seven times, he shall surely rise again, but the wicked are brought down with calamity. I love the assurance that Solomon gives when he says that though we fall, we shall surely rise again.
We all make mistakes, Paul says to the church in Rome in Romans 3v23; "for all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God." Your situation is not unique, God is ready to forgive you, if you come to him with repentant heart.

"At Midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God..... and suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prisons were shaken, and immediately all doors were opened and everyone's bands were loosed." Acts 16 v 25-26
It is saddening to realize that most Christians take praise for granted. Praise has lost its essence and is now more of a routine than reverence. Praise time has become redundant to some christian. Some people even go the extent of taking praise as a hobby and has since lost meaning in the believers of most Christian.
